It was another one of my submissions to the folk show, but I think it can find placement on the blog because there's certainly some psych flavor to most of it. As psychedelic as you can get with an un-affected acoustic guitar, at least. Maybe you'll like it.

It is remarkable what one can do with the sheer versatility of an acoustic guitar. The 2 hours we have here is heavily focused on a facet of American Folk music that I believe should have as much attention as possible, given its beauty and influence.
It seemed a little insane to have an entire set reserved for solo-acoustic guys - so we eased into this set of mostly instrumental guitar music with a spaced-out live cut from Gomez, and threw in some other wildcards that seemed to go with the flow (Man, Biel Ballester, etc.) to keep you on your toes - but mainly stuck to the '60s/'70s output of labels like Takoma and Vanguard. (Though a handful of these albums were completely self-released before that was really a thing, and remain largely forgotten specks on the industry's underbelly.)
I hope you enjoy these hard-to-find and under-appreciated recordings, as you are unlikely to find them anywhere else - radio or otherwise.
