Top picture is of a EMS VCS 3 Synthi that Pink Floyd used to create the sped up, 8-note sequence for "On The Run" on the actual album. Look at that thing. It's fucking archaic. The live version of the song showcased here did not use any synths, and (back in 1972) was usually titled the "Travel Sequence," or something like that.
